The UCLA Bruins Rowing Team

The UCLA Men’s Rowing team is a club varsity program fully recognized by both the Pac-12 and ACRA conferences. Founded in 1933, the team continues to leave a legacy led by full-time Head Coach Marcel Stiffey, and with the support from the Friends of UCLA Rowing (FOUR) alumni group, from the UCLA Recreation Department, and of course from the athletes and their families.

The team trains experienced and novice athletes all year on the water to compete at a number of prestigious regattas: Head of the Charles, UCLA Classic, San Diego Crew Classic, Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Regional Championships, and American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) National Championships.

Leading into a century of history, our athletes and alumni continue the tradition of excellence in all aspects of their lives: in athletics, in academics, in their professions, and, most importantly, in their personal lives.
